Co-Founder, Investor, Cryptocurrency Evangelist, and Technology Entrepreneur.

The emergence of blockchain technologies is the biggest disruptive change this century. Jamie saw this change coming, and understands how it will deeply affect every part of our lives, both here in Canada and in the developing world. Jamie promotes the platform as Cardano emerges as the 3rd-generation industry leader in DeFi, Smart contract technologies, and accessibility to all markets. His focus is on evangelizing the Cardano community, communicating solutions to help onboard new large-scale investors, and promoting as the crypto market continues to grow.

Helen Tomalik, M Ed

Program planning, implementation and evaluation. Student coaching, adult education and training

Helen's passion for education is matched only by her commitment to social and environmental responsibility. She brings to us her long experience with adult education, having taught at the college level for many years, and is an expert in mentoring students. She's also passionate about sustainability and responsible food production, and is our resident bee-keeper. Helen is obviously excited about Cardano's tiny energy footprint compared to competing blockchains, and is a thought leader in our group when it comes to supporting Cardano in emerging economies.

Community outreach, education and fine arts liaison

Sarah is an accomplished ESL educator and has worked with generations of new Canadians teaching them English and basic skills. She is also an accomplished portraitist and continues to work in and support fine arts in our community. Sarah's interest in Cardano specifically applies to its potential to support arts and culture both at a local community level and globally through emerging applications such as NFTs and micropayments.

Justin Hogeterp, BArtsSci

Co-Founder, Investor, Technology Entrepreneur, Business Development Lead

Justin is an accomplished technology entrepreneur, having founded Fluid Media (fluidmedia.com) in 1998. He brings years of volunteer experience in governance and leadership as a past Chair of the Board of Directors of YMCA of Hamilton-Burlingon-Brantford and supports the local community as the current Chair of the Innovation Factory (innovationfactory.ca) community business incubator and support organization. Justin is a seasoned AWS engineer having been an early adopter of cloud computing in the mid-2000's and brings both strategic and technical expertise to our organization and infrastructure. Having followed the development of blockchain technologies closely, it was the emergence of Cardano that tipped Justin's interest into commitment to create our staking pool and to make Cardano's technology accessible to new investors and participants.
